Fashion is a whole package. It consists of many things, from clothing to hair accessories to shoes, bags, and other accessories. All of this together makes a whole look and presents a fashion statement along with the wearer’s personality. Accessories are something used to complement and complete an outfit. It holds the power of making or breaking a look. Although they are secondary, they are as important as clothing while creating a look. It opens up dressing opportunities one did not know they had.
Everyone styles themselves every single day. Some might put more effort into it, while others might throw on what they get, but either way, they participate in styling/putting together an outfit. This is why one can say that style today is a classic, and with it, it’s accessories too.

The perfect look can be achieved by rightly mixing colors, elements, and design principles. Accessories can either be used to correlate or break the look by creating contrasts. Either way, it is essential for it to complement the clothing.
Consumers aware of the fashion industry’s environmental impact have started supporting slow fashion and investment dressing. Investment dressing often leads to repetition of outfits, the looks of which can be altered via accessories. They can revamp clothing as per occasions making it look versatile and changing the outfit image.

Wanting to become a stylist, it is essential for me to recognize the role accessories play in enhancing a look and expressing oneself.
