Hi, I am Drisha! Welcome to ‘The Fashion Post’ and my first ever blog. Of course, I have to start by introducing myself. My name is Drisha Singhania, a student studying at Raffles College of Higher Education born and raised in Mumbai, India.
A little background about me, I am 20 years old, having an academic knowledge in Commerce, and now completing my three-year-long bachelor course in International Fashion Business. I am in my 3rd year, and before this course, I had no experience or interaction of any kind in the fashion industry. Although, I always found myself experimenting with fashion and having an inclination towards it which is why here I am giving my passion a try. Being a commerce student, I always had an interest in business and marketing but was unwilling to join the corporate world. When I came across this course, it felt like the perfect combination of my two interests.
I completed my Diploma and Advance Diploma in the same course from Raffles in Mumbai and had to be in Singapore for my final year of finishing the course. But as the pandemic took the world by storm, it took my plans too. However, I am hoping for things to settle down and getting to travel soon to study offline in college with my classmates and gain new experiences of staying abroad.
I am starting this blog as a milestone along my way of reaching my career goal, which involves being a Fashion Stylist or leading a publication house such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, or Elle.
