In 2020, lockdowns were imposed, and the world came to a standstill. Restrictions were placed at offices, school, colleges, and everyone were to work, study from home.

The first three months, I was busy with my final module of the 2nd year, but once that was over, boredom struck. I got lazy, and my productivity was zero, which bothered me quite a lot.

Over time I took up online courses such as Fashion styling at the London School of trends and attended seminars talking to famous Indian fashion bloggers and stylists. Despite this, I also did work from home internship as part of my fashion merchandising course.

The internship was under a homegrown fashion house named ‘GA kids’ owned by designer Ginelle Alphonso for three months. She had a product line for kids and women. I clicked product images and wrote blogs related to them, which I posted on her social media thrice a week. The photoshoot and the post-planning were done in coordination with Ginelle herself. While working, I acquired material knowledge, interacted with customers, learned video editing, photography, and improvised blog writing.

Although my six-month gap was not that productive, I am satisfied with the knowledge I gained and am hoping to utilize them in my future assignments.
