Growing up skipping through the glossy magazine pages, the runway models, the fashion weeks, and being raised in Mumbai, the Bollywood city, I was in awe seeing the glamour, fame, and most importantly, the fashionable outfits the Bollywood divas donned. From childhood, I have watched almost every film in the theatres and would always want to recreate those outfits for myself, styling them in my own unique way.
Somewhere, I realized how fond I am of fashion and decided to pursue a career in it. A fashion stylist, to be precise. I knew I wanted to do something in fashion, but designing wasn't it. So when I came across the course 'Fashion Marketing and Management' I enrolled myself. It's the perfect blend of fashion with business (considering my commerce background). Currently, I am in my 3rd year of the course, studying at Raffles Design Institute.

Fashion styling is mainly about creating a complete look according to the theme, event, one's personal style, and ongoing fashion trends. Stylists style clothes and outfits for photo shoots, advertisements, movies, celebrity appearances, and build new fashion trends. They can work for individuals, fashion houses, and clothing brands. I wish to work as a stylist for an esteemed fashion magazine like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Filmfare, etc.
